Event Descriptions
One-Hour or One and a Half Hour Ministry Show for
Church Events
In the one-hour show, Earl and Kimberly have a
variety of entertainment. Earl starts out the show differently
each time. It may start out with him magically making Kimberly
appear out of an empty box or he may start out with a little bit
of juggling using juggling scarves, balls, clubs, Chinese Yo Yo,
“rabbits”, and juggling sticks. Then with the help of his lovely
assistant Kimberly, he transitions into making a lot of scarves
appear, disappear and turn into other objects. Next, they include
audience participation with a series of funny tricks and
entertainment.
As they move into a small puppet show, the kids of
all ages laugh and sing along. To keep the magic going, they shift
back to using tubes, boxes, cards, ropes, balloon twisting and
fire to amaze their audience. In the show, Earl sometimes uses a
head twister to twist his wife’s head around and around.
Throughout the show, Earl and Kimberly present the Gospel of Jesus
Christ and give an invitation near the end of the show. For the
big finale, Earl and Kimberly will either end with making beach
balls appear out of an empty child’s play hut or magically float a
child on the Magic Table.
The entire show has non stop action that keeps the
audience on the edge of their seats waiting to see what comes
next.
The
one and a half hour show
provides a few more exciting illusions & audience participation
than the one hour show. If you want to impact your audience to the
fullest, then book the
one and a half hour show.
One-Hour or One and a Half Hour Show for
Corporate Events, Banquets, Libraries, Schools, Day
Cares or any other Party or Celebration.
In these shows Earl and Kimberly include many of
the above dazzling magic and illusions without sharing the Gospel.
It is a fun clean family show that all ages love.

This includes
roving balloon twisting, roving close up magic, roving juggling
and a one-hour interactive magic, puppet and juggling show similar
to the show described above in the one hour show.

Bible Schools, Kids Crusades, Family Crusades, Camps
Give your children’s workers a break by
booking Vertical Kids Ministry to come in and do the whole VBS or
Kid’s Crusade for you. This is an easy attendance booster and it
saves you time that you could be spending with the kids. It saves
you money from all of the books and craft kits you would have to
buy and your teachers will love you for it.
There are three programs to choose from.
1. The Mystery Book - "The Wordless
Book"
2. Battle Protection - "The Full Armor
of God"
3. Alien Kids – “We Are Aliens In This
World”
In The Mystery Book
program, we use puppets, Christian illusions, juggling, balloon
twisting, costumes, games, stories, scripture verses, singing and
The Wordless Book to share what heaven is like; where and when sin
came into the world; God's promise of sending a Savior to forgive
and take our sins away; the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus
and how to grow in a relationship with Him. Each day of your
event we will focus on a color from the Wordless Book. Each one of
the colors tells a story. These colors in order are gold, black,
red, white and green.
In the Battle Protection
program, we use puppets, Christian illusions, juggling, balloon
twisting, costumes, games, stories, scripture verses, and singing
to show kids that there are spiritual battles in life that we have
to be prepared for. Each day we will focus on Ephesians 6:10-17
where your students will encounter each piece of the Full Armor of
God including the Belt of Truth, the Helmet of Salvation, the
Shield of Faith, the Breast Plate of Righteousness, the Shoes of
Peace and the Sword of the Spirit.
We come in and provide you with a 3 – 5
night Crusade, Vacation Bible School, Kids or Family Crusade or
Kids Camp. Each night our teaching lasts about 1 ½ hours in
length. For camps we work with your schedules for day and night.
We provide the decorations, the back
drop, the teaching, the entertainment, the games, the music and
the Gospel Message. We do not offer crafts or snack time. If you
want to incorporate that into the event then let us know. However,
you will need to provide for that.
In the Alien Kids
program- Kids have always been curious about space and "life on
other planets." This theme capitalizes on that curiosity by
comparing the life of a Christian with the life of an alien.
1 Peter 2:11 teaches us that we are
"aliens in this world." To live a life that is out of this world,
we must be careful to "stay away from sinful things." That
includes guarding our hearts and minds from all of the sinful
influences of the world.
It is a fun
learning experience with space backgrounds, space and alien
decorations, lots of music, scripture learning, story time, magic
tricks, juggling, balloon twisting, puppets and lots of audience
participation.
Happy Birthday Jesus Party
Happy Birthday Jesus Party is a magical
party that celebrates Jesus' birth. This show incorporates a
number of comedy magical effects, puppets and juggling. Watch as
we magically make a birthday cake for Jesus in a party atmosphere.
We will find out who can make it to the "Big Party" which is
Heaven. As the show comes to the end, everyone will find out that
not only are humans made uniquely but also snow flakes. The
flourishing finish will find Earl magically making snow flakes
appear in mid air.
This show can be
booked anytime during the year. It is very popular around
Christmas time but don't be afraid to celebrate the birth of Jesus
on any given Sunday.
Christmas Show - “The Real Magical Meaning of
Christmas”
The Christmas Show
is a 1 hour show that features a delightful use of tubes, boxes,
cards, ropes, chains, colorful scarves, puppets and Christmas
music to incorporate fun magical stories about Santa
Clause, the North Pole, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and Santa’s
Elves. At the beginning of the show, we will make our assistant
appear out of an empty box. We will introduce everyone to our
“little friends” and everyone will listen in as our puppets sing
Christmas songs. Then the kids and parents will be amazed when a
drawing of Santa Clause comes to life and talks to everyone! As
the show continues, using lots of audience participation and
humor, we will find The Real Magical Meaning of Christmas as Earl
shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the dazzling effects of
magic and illusion. Near the end of the show an invitation will be
given for anyone to find the Real meaning of Christmas in their
lives. The use of dazzling effects of magic and illusion will
defiantly get your audience in the spirit of Christmas. We come in
with backdrops, Christmas decorations, magical props, music and
lots of entertainment. It is truly a magical event.
Easter Magic Show
Filled with music, comedy magic, balloon
twisting, juggling, audience participation and story telling,
Vertical Kids Ministry’s One hour Easter show will encourage and
delight every audience member. In a fun and magical way the kids
will experience Palm Sunday, the Death, and Resurrection of Jesus
Christ as they participate on stage in the many colorful magic
tricks. Through the magic, balloon twisting and story telling they
will hear the true gospel of Jesus Christ and will have the
opportunity to receive Him as their Savior.
This show is great
for an Easter Egg Hunt Outreach, Sunday morning worship, Kid’s
Church, Awana program or any other weekday program.

Five Hour Creative Ministry Training Workshop
Have you ever wanted to take your youth
group on a Mission Trip where they could share their faith without
fear? Have you ever wanted to reach out to your community for
Christ but don't know exactly how? We can show you how to put
together a one day or one week outreach to kids or nursing homes
by using Creative Ministry techniques. This five hour Creative
Ministry Training includes basic puppet training, basic juggling,
basic balloon twisting, and basic magic as well as a 30 minute
show at the end that will show you how to tie all of the training
together to share the Gospel.
Each participant receives a 25 page
book of notes that we go through during the training. Then
they get to take this home with them so they can continue their
practicing.

Educational Shows for Schools, Libraries and

There are several
educational shows that are offered.

Winter Wonder Reading Show
This is more than an entertaining show, it is highly
educational leaning toward celebrating and encouraging reading
in your student's lives.
This show features Frosty The Snowman puppet who appears out of
an empty box. The kids will also see a snowball float in the air
and then it disappears. The show includes lots of music, stories
and illusions specially designed for the students. There are
many colorful and visual routines that use audience
participation and will keep everyone personally involved for
50-55 minutes.

Christmas Story Telling Show
This is a 50-55 min. show that features a delightful use of
colorful silks, tubes, boxes, ropes, chains, lights, puppets and
Christmas music to incorporate fun magical stories about Santa
Clause, the North Pole, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Candy
Canes and Santa’s Elves. Kids will see items appear and
disappear. The children will be amazed as they watch a drawing
of Santa Clause come alive right in front of their eyes!

Spring Into Reading Show
The Spring Into Reading Show for Schools and Libraries
incorporates many things that are coming to life in the Spring;
including blooming flowers, caterpillars turning into
butterflies, a paper butterfly flying around magically, rabbit
tricks (not live rabbits), an appearance with Petey our rabbit
puppet and many more fun and amazing audience participation
tricks. We tie all of this into talking about and showing
different books about Spring and animal life during the Spring.
We encourage the kids to keep on reading even through the summer
months.

Spooky Goofy Halloween Reading
and Safety Show
Come with us as we explore an old haunted castle to try to
find the treasure. The kids discover that the treasure is really
books. Your kids will giggle and laugh as they meet Mr. Bones
who keeps falling apart, looses his head but then it reappears.
Our friend Jack the Great Pumpkin will make an appearance and
produce a big surprise. In one of the rooms of the castle the
kids will meet Petey our rabbit puppet that will teach them
Trick or Treat Safety. This show is filled with a lot of
audience participation, comedy, music, stories, puppets and lots
of magic.

B.A.N.D. Together: No Bullies
Allowed - Bully Assembly Program
(The “B.A.N.D.” acronym
explained)
The message of this show is contained in the word “BAND”:
B – be a buddy, not a bully
A – attitude, avoid, ask for help
N – nobody deserves to be bullied
D – don’t join in, help instead!
Using magic, audience participation, storytelling and comedy,
these points are brought to life and taught to students in a
fun, entertaining way!

Mission Nutrition - M.A.R.S. –
Nutrition Assembly Program
The program is designed to promote healthy eating and living
habits in elementary school children, by teaching students
important nutrition topics while taking a trip to M.A.R.S. In
fact, they key points of the show are contained in the acronym
M.A.R.S.

M – Move And Exercise!
The first point of this show is “move and exercise.” Moving,
exercising is a way to strengthen and build our bodies, and
improve our flexibility. We have all seen people who lift
weights to make their muscles stronger. Well, our heart is our
most important muscle, and exercising is a way to work out that
muscle!
A – Avoid Junk Food!
Next we talk about avoiding junk foods. We all know there are
foods that are good for us to eat, and foods that are not so
good to eat. But do students really understand why? The program
also has another important message, that “junk food” is not BAD.
We let the students know that a junk food snack is ok every now
and then, but the majority of what you eat should come from the
food groups.
R –Right Foods To Eat!
The next point of the show discusses what the students should be
eating in their diet. We introduce the food pyramid, and
comically discuss what the different food groups mean, and why
it’s smart to eat from all of them!
S – Skip The Sodas, Drink Water!
Sodas are considered a “junk food” and that means it’s ok to
have every now and then as a little snack. But water is the most
important thing that we can put into our bodies!
